Good value, worked out

I was really worried when my dog got out. I found Lost My Doggie and decided to try their Lost Dog Phone Alerts. The price for the alerts was fair, especially with the discount they had. It felt like a good investment, and luckily, my dog was back home in about 2 days after the calls went out. Definitely worth the purchase for the peace of mind.

Reliable help again

This is my second time using Lost My Doggie, and they've been consistently reliable. Last year, I used them for a Lost Dog Phone Alert when Buster got out. This time, my new puppy, Pip, managed to slip her leash. I went straight for the Premium Pet Recovery Package this time around. The Fax Alerts to Vets and Shelters went out quickly, and the Social Media Pet Alerts were a nice addition. The interface for setting everything up hasn't changed much, which is good – it's still straightforward. Pip was found after about 48 hours thanks to a vet's office who recognized her from the fax. It's a solid service and why I keep coming back when I need help.

So happy with the service

Oh my goodness, I was in a panic when Mittens didn't come home! I jumped on Lost My Doggie and got the Missing Cat Notification Service and some of their Missing Pet Postcards. The process was super easy to set up. I was so relieved and honestly, a little surprised at how fast everything went out. My neighbors were notified, and the postcards looked really professional. Mittens was found just down the street the next morning thanks to a neighbor who got the call. I will absolutely use them again if I ever need to, and I've already told my sister about it, who has two escape-artist ferrets!

Thinking of trying this for my cat who's been gone a few days. Does it actually work or is it just another scam?

T Todd V. 3 weeks ago
Yeah, my friend used it last year for her dog who got out during a storm. Got him back in 2 days from a call someone received. It's legit.

It's not a scam, they definitely send out the alerts. Success rates vary of course but it gives you a much better shot than just posters, afaik.

What if my pet is found like, right after I pay for the alerts but before they all go out? Can I get my money back?

E Emma 1 month ago
Nah, I don't think so once it's in motion. I mean, they start almost immediately, so the service is kinda already 'delivered'.

Pretty sure they have a no-refund policy if the alerts have started. It's in their terms I think, cause the work starts right away.

I'm looking at this service, but PawBoost also looks pretty good. Anyone used both and have thoughts on which is better?

W Wendy B. 1 month ago
I used PawBoost once and it was okay, but I felt like LostMyDoggie's phone calls got more immediate attention. The postcards seemed to help too.

LostMyDoggie's phone alerts are what set it apart for me. Neighbors actually getting a call seems more effective than just social media posts, though both are good.

Are there any promo codes floating around for this service? Trying to save a few bucks if I can.

R Rosa Kaur 3 weeks ago
Sometimes they have them on their homepage banners, or if you sign up for emails. I think I got like $10 off my package last time.

Check RetailMeNot, or just google 'LostMyDoggie coupon code'. Sometimes they have seasonal ones too, like around holidays.

my dog just got out and i'm kinda freaking out. how fast do these alerts actually go out after you sign up?

S Sarah 1 month ago
Pretty quick. I did it for my beagle last month and the calls started going out within an hour or so, it was impressive.

Yeah, I think it's pretty much instant once you confirm everything. Like, practically real-time.
